What Is Giving Hope Mall?

Giving Hope Mall is a Christmas experience designed to serve local families who could use a little extra help during the holiday season.

Instead of receiving a pre-selected box of gifts, parents and guardians are invited to shop for their children from a wide selection of new toys and gifts—all provided at no cost through the generosity of people, businesses, and organizations in our church and community.

Giving Hope Mall is about more than gifts—it’s about bringing our community together to serve families and share hope at Christmas. On Saturday, children from birth through 5th grade can also enjoy a Christmas experience with our Valorous Kids team while their parents or guardians shop.

We'll provide a giving box for your business where employees, customers, and neighbors can drop off new, unwrapped gifts for local children.

Financial support helps us purchase gifts for age groups where donations fall short and meet other needs that make Giving Hope Mall possible. Business sponsors will also be recognized as community partners during the event.

How Giving Hope Mall Works

Giving Hope Mall is designed to make Christmas shopping simple, fun, and special.

Check In

Arrive at your scheduled time, and our team will help you get checked in and ready to shop.

Shop for Your Children

Parents and guardians choose from a wide selection of new gifts for children through age 18.

We Wrap the Gifts

Once you've finished shopping, our volunteers will wrap your gifts and get them ready to take home.

Kids Have Christmas Fun

If you bring children from birth through 5th grade, they'll enjoy their own Christmas experience with Valorous Kids while you shop.

Giving Hope Mall is designed to serve local families who could use extra help providing Christmas gifts for their children. Applications are reviewed individually, and submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.

To help us serve as many families as possible, families receiving Christmas gift assistance through another organization are not eligible to also receive gifts through Giving Hope Mall.

Yes. There is no cost for approved families to participate in Giving Hope Mall. The gifts are purchased and donated by generous people, businesses, and organizations throughout our church and community.

Our team will review each application and contact you with the status of your application. If approved, you'll receive an assigned shopping time for December 4 or 5 along with additional information about what to expect when you arrive.

Families receiving Christmas gift assistance through another organization, such as the Salvation Army Angel Tree, Toys for Tots, or another local program, are not eligible to also receive gifts through Giving Hope Mall. This helps us reach families who might otherwise go without assistance this Christmas.

No. Children are not required to attend Giving Hope Mall, and no children are allowed in the shopping area while parents and guardians shop.

On Saturday only, children from birth through 5th grade may participate in a Christmas experience with our Valorous Kids team while their parents or guardians shop. This children's experience is not available on Friday.

Families shopping on Friday will need to make childcare arrangements for their children. Families shopping on Saturday will also need to make arrangements for children older than 5th grade.

We're looking for new, unwrapped gifts for children through age 18. You can shop from one of our online gift lists or download our In-Store Gift Guide for ideas when shopping locally.

New, unwrapped gifts can be brought to the Valorous Church office during the week or dropped off at one of our participating Giving Hope Mall collection locations.

Children and students may be able to serve in select volunteer roles depending on their age. Please review the available volunteer opportunities for age requirements and other details.
