Notes
Whether you’re a man or woman, whether you’re young or old, the BIble has a lot to say about godly character. Last Sunday, we celebrated the mother figures in our lives, whoever they may be, and the role they had in shaping who we are today.
Like the impact those people had on our lives, we all should want to be that type of person: to seek God, take on His characteristics, and be a role model for the people around us. A godly person, male or female, is someone who prays regularly, reads God’s Word, trusts God to meet their needs, and exhibits the kindness and hospitality of God.
Today, let’s read a few verses and reflect on the importance of the mother figures in our lives, and how we can come alongside each other to be a godly influence in the lives of our families. Whether you are married or unmarried, whether you have children or are a spiritual parent, there are people who you influence every day. Reflect on how you can be a positive influence on them and help them grow into who God is calling them to be.

Thank you for the mothers and mother figures in our lives who have shaped us with their strength, wisdom, and love. Help us to reflect on their influence and strive to display the same type of godly character. Guide us in seeking Your Kingdom above all else and trusting in Your provision for our needs.
